2009 was a tough year for Southern Illinois – first an ice storm that shut down that part of the state for three weeks in February; then a mesocyclone with winds clocked at 105 miles per hour in May. Knowing how important it was to keep her clients fed and safe, Pam, whose own home suffered damage from the storm, delivered meals and provided service to clients in her area during this very terrifying time.
